Xeptagon showcased its latest technology and software that could be used in supporting Climate Finance and Carbon Trading initiatives. We also shared the experiences of the Xeptagon team obtained by directly being contracted by inter-governmental organizations and governments in Africa to develop Carbon Registries, Carbon MRV Systems and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories. Xeptagon was the only organization showcasing software that could support Carbon Trading at the Hong Kong Fintech Week 2023.

This year’s edition of the Hong Kong FinTech Week marked 30 years since the establishment of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). The event was held from October 31 to November 5, 2023, at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center. The event gained over 5 million views with over 30,000 attendees, 300 speakers, and 540 sponsors and exhibitors, with the theme “Fintech Redefined”. The conference served as a window to cutting-edge fintech for all the guests who had travelled from more than 90 different countries.

Many notable events took place during the conference including speeches from fintech thought leaders such as Yat Siu (Co-Founder of Animoca Brands) and Brian Armstrong (Co-Founder at Coinbase) among others.

Xeptagon also had partnership discussions with representatives from InvestHK and Hong Kong University on the sidelines of the event. With Xeptagon incorporated in Hong Kong, we look forward to further expanding ties in Hong Kong in the fintech domain.
